Changing Monitors <From Smaller to Bigger>

G'day.Me and Panda are wondering, would anything happen to my Computers graphics/graphics card or resolution if I upgraded from my 19 Inch monitor (Yes, I know) to a 26-30(Not sure on the exact size) inch monitor?My mate has the monitor and he isn't using it anymore so not exactly sure on the details.I appreciate the help.
